There are many beautiful beaches and clear water; therefore it is the perfect place for a self catering beach holiday. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with its winding cobbled streets and pretty houses. The heart of Nerja is the promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, with sweeping panoramic views. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from, as well as historical monuments. One of its most famous attractions is its caves, and these are a must-see.
