This is a beautiful stone townhouse hidden away down one of Pollença\'s narrow mediaeval streets, in the heart of the old town. It\'s been renovated with great style and sensitivity to the original character of the building. There\'s a terrific rooftop pool-terrace with clear views across to the Puig Maria mountain

Inside
On the lower level there's a hallway, a dining area and an open plan lounge and kitchen. A door from the lounge leads outside to a lovely shaded seating area which is ideal for al-fresco dining, and a wrought-iron staircase leads up from here to the raised pool-terrace. On the upper floor there are three bedrooms - two twin rooms and a double room. Two of these rooms lead out onto a terrace which again leads to the swimming pool. The bedrooms are lovely light and bright rooms with wooden and iron-work furniture. The double room has lots of storage space in fitted wardrobes, and it also has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. There's a second family bathroom on the upper floor too, a shower room with wc on the lower floor, and a pool bathroom on the roof-terrace.
Outside
The patios, terraces and pool have amazing views over to the Puig Maria mountain, and the 18th-century monastery building at the top. It's is an incredibly relaxing place for swimming and reading in the daytime, for eating - there's a separate covered barbecue casita, outside bathroom, a lawn - and it perfect for just looking over the rooftops of the old town as the sun sets. Casa Chacon is a great townhouse full of history and Mallorcan character. It's really well placed for everything in Pollença - the cafés, restaurants, shops, and historic sites of the old town. And the beach and sea are only a 10-minute drive away at Puerto Pollença. It's a lovely house for friends or a family with older children - the different levels, steps and open staircases may be less easy for young children.
