Location
A lovely family house in the mountainous Tramuntana area, inland from Pollença. Finca Sa Caseta is the perfect base for a country holiday. It’s in an area of mountains and traditional villages, with beautiful views all around and lots of walks and cycle rides nearby.(the building next door in main picture is an empty locked up farm bulding belonging to the villa)
The house is just outside Moscari, a sleepy village of 500 people with just a church, a hotel and restaurant, two bars, a bank and a couple of shops. The whole Tramuntana region is dotted with pretty villages: Esporles, Valldemossa, Soller, Orient, Alaro, Selva, Moscari, and Binibona.Nearby Binibona and Campanet also have several agroturismo hotels with great restaurants, as well as local bars and shops. The area also extends to the beautiful Formentor peninsula.
1km/15-minute walk to Moscari village. 5-minute drive to Binibona and Campanet. 20-minute drive from Pollença and the beaches of Puerto Pollença.
Layout
Inside
The house itself is a great mix of traditional and modern design. The rooms are very light and bright with white walls and terracotta-tiled floors. All the rooms are at ground level. The long lounge and dining room have comfortable sofas, satellite tv and a dvd and cd stereo, and a dining table and chairs. French doors open out onto the covered pool-terrace. A stone arch leads through to the kitchen – another light room with lots of storage space and appliances including a dishwasher. Another door here also leads out onto a shady covered terrace with open views across fields and trees. There’s a dining table and chairs here and a sofa, making this is a really lovely place to sit and relax, eat and talk, through the day and into the evening. There are three bedrooms at the house: one double room and two twin rooms. They share two bathrooms – one with a bath and a shower and one shower-bathroom.
Outiside
The pool area and garden are very private but also feel part of the surrounding countryside, with amazing views across fields and olive groves to the mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntan
