A sweet little house up a long drive from the old Pollenca to Alcudia Road. Villa Alzinas is a great place for a family holiday - with lovely gardens and lawns for children to play. It\'s also in a great location, within day-time walking distance of the old town of Pollenca and with lovely views of the Puig Maria mountain.
Location
This is a great family villa with a lovely private garden. It's very close to the Puig Maria mountain which you can climb, walking to the top up a picturesque path to the 18th-century monastery there. The house is also just a short drive or a 25-minute day-time walk (not suitable for walking with prams/young children)from the historic old town of Pollenca. The sea and the lovely sheltered bay of Puerto Pollenca are also just a short drive away. 1.5 km / 25-minute day-time walk to Pollenca old town. 5-minute drive from the beach at Puerto Pollenca
Layout
Inside
Inside, the house is in a traditional Mallorcan design with white walls, tiled floors, beamed ceilings and arched windows. All the rooms are at ground level. They're simply furnished in neutral colours with white linen. There's a comfortable lounge area with two large cream sofas around a stone fireplace. A split-level dining room leads into the kitchen through a stone archway. There are appliances here including a dishwasher and a large fridge-freezer. There are two bedrooms - a twin room and a double - both with air-conditioning. The twin room has especially lovely views over the garden and trees to the surrounding countryside. These rooms share a full bathroom with a bath and a shower.
Outside
The setting for this villa is really lovely. It's in a very quiet and private place with a great pool and a big lawn, surrounded by tall trees and palms. A long covered terrace with a dining table and chairs overlooks the garden. There's a barbecue here too.
