Location
Finca Francesca Can Pou is a very elegant and relaxing house with lots of space for a holiday with family or friends. It's in a lovely part of the countryside, a five-minute drive to both Pollenca and Puerto Pollenca. So you can easily spend the whole day at the house, exploring the countryside, visiting historic sites, or going to the beach and the sea. 5-minute drive to Pollença old town and the resort, beach and sea at Puerto Pollença. 40-minute drive from Palma Airport
Layout
Inside
Inside, the house is beautifully designed and decorated with lots of interesting space. The rooms are light and bright with white walls, spotlighting, terracotta floors and an elegant mix of modern and antique furniture. This is a family home which feels very welcoming and there are lots of traditional ceramics and works of art around the house. An entrance hall with an ironwork staircase and a stone archway leads through to the lounge. This room has comfortable sofas and rocking chairs around a stone fireplace, satellite tv and a dvd and cd stereo, and a dining table and chairs. Two sets of French doors lead out onto a shady covered terrace which overlooks the pool and gardens. There's another dining table in the kitchen-diner which is another long and bright room. This large kitchen has lots of storage and workspace and appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave. Laundry can be done in a separate utility room. Also on the ground floor there's a shower bathroom and a single bedroom. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned. The four family bedrooms are off the landing on the first floor - a double room with views to the distant mountains. This room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. There are also three light and airy twin rooms which share another bathroom with a bath and a shower
Outside
The house has very peaceful gardens with lawns and a lovely pool surrounded by hedges and trees. They're full of relaxing places - shady palms and fruit trees, and a covered terrace with a long dining table and a seperate professional barbecue area. They're also very private - the only sound you can hear is sheep in the fields around the house
